      Purchasing Responsibilities

      The GPA Purchasing Department is responsible for the procurement of goods and/or services required for operation of the Authority. The Department purchases and contracts for materials, equipment, supplies, and services on the open market using established purchasing policies and procedures.

      At all times, the Department endeavors to facilitate the purchase of goods and services through open and fair competition. Through fair and honest dealing, the Department ensures equal opportunity for all qualified and capable vendors and abides by the highest ethical standards in accomplishing its mission.
